PIER IV OFFICE + RETAIL

Overview:
Pier IV is a 6 story office and retail building located at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, next door to the National Aquarium and The Cordish Companies’ headquarters, in the Power Plant Building. The building is designed to recall the industrial character of the Power Plant Building, while incorporating the modern needs of retail on the first floor. The building is elevated and the plinth offers waterfront dining in an intimate and energized urban waterfront experience. Curry Architects was architect of record and worked with the New York firm of Beyer Blinder Belle, who provided the initial schematic design. Curry Architects’ efforts included design development, construction documentation, bidding assistance and full contract administration construction phase services. Curry Architects efforts with value engineering made the building possible by cutting the original construction estimates by 5 million dollars. Project required UDARP approval.
