School’s Out For Summer, But Curry Education Projects Continue

This might be the last week of school for many Baltimore area schools but Curry Architects has several projects under construction that are almost complete and ready to be furnished and equipped for the 2018-2019 school year. The drone was out flying high to capture the progress at both Talmudical Academy and McDonogh School. Talmudical Academy, the oldest Hebrew school in the nation, is getting an additional 60,000 SF for the new academic year that includes a new high school and pre-school designed by Curry Architects. Curry is renovating the existing buildings on campus as well so the incoming students, faculty, and families will have the best facilities to serve their educational programs. Over at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, this prestigious K-12 co-educational private school is receiving new faculty housing for the over 20% of its faculty members that both live and work on campus. Curry Architects designed these beautiful farmhouse-inspired carriage style flats and townhomes to blend with the rolling adjacent farmland. Curry Architects also designed the Fader Innovation Center at McDonogh School, which is currently under construction and will be ready for students and faculty this fall. This new building is a unique addition to any Maryland school and will expand the STEM education through robotics and technology labs. Keep following Curry Architects on social media and on our website for more updates.
