Curry Architects was commissioned to design a new luxury apartment building at Ingram Manor in Pikesville, Maryland. This apartment complex has five stories of one and two-bedroom units over a subterranean parking garage. Amenities for residents include a fitness center, lounge, private party room with a gourmet kitchen, pet-wash stations, additional rentable storage, and plenty of outdoor green space. This is the first new construction apartment building in the Pikesville area in over 50 years. The design and finishes were selected to complement the materials of the existing buildings on site and the surrounding properties. The building incorporates sustainable features equivalent to LEED Silver per the National Green Building Standard. Recycled products, high-efficiency HVAC units, and Energy Star appliances are among the many features that will lower the building’s carbon footprint.
