Curry Architects was commissioned by David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD to build a new luxury apartment building located at Ingram Manor in Pikesville, Maryland. This 96-unit apartment complex consists of five stories of one and two bedroom apartment units over a subterranean parking garage. Apartments range in size from 970 square feet up to 1,440 square feet. Amenities for residents include a fitness center, lounge, private party room with gourmet kitchen, pet-wash stations, additional rentable storage and plenty of outdoor green space. This is the first new construction apartment building to be built in the Pikesville area in over 50 years. The design and finishes were selected to complement the materials of the existing buildings on site and the surrounding properties. The building incorporates sustainable features equivalent to LEED Silver per the National Green Building Standard. Recycled products, high efficiency HVAC units, and Energy Star Appliances were among the many features utilized to lower the building’s carbon footprint.
