OVERVIEW
Located on the historic Emerson Farm property at Falls and Greenspring Roads, this building evokes the “barn” character of the surrounding buildings. Once a dairy farm built by the inventor of Bromo Seltzer, the existing buildings have been converted into educational facilities for preschool through middle school-age children taught in the methods of Maria Montessori. Many of the original structures are in use, such as the old silos, which have been adapted as a library and conference room. The new building, with its administrative offices, classroom, and gymnasium, has become the school’s signature building.
