Curry Architects was commissioned to master plan and usher this mixed-use project through the complex Fairfax County, Virginia zoning office. The property was originally zoned for single family dwellings. Our efforts resulted in complete re-zoning approval for our client to allow this mixed-use building in a previously zoned single family residential area. The project is a podium design with retail and parking on the lower levels and five stories of apartments above. The project includes 4,000 square feet of retail, 161 parking spaces, 139 residential units with a roof top deck, a fitness center, and other amenities.
