SUBURBAN ORTHODOX
Overview:
This synagogue provides a new place of worship and study for a well established congregation which has outgrown its current facilities. The new facility provides a sanctuary for 375 people which opens to a social hall for 250. The rooms can be combined during the high holidays by opening a movable wall. Also included is a Bais Medrash for study, adult and children’s classrooms, and an office for the Rabbi and his administrative staff. The design features stone, block, and large windows to flood the spaces inside with natural light. Also, a large terrace for Sukkot has been placed on the south side of the building directly accessible by the kitchen and social hall.
